Description
This is the initial live take of Very Ape, presumably recorded on the session's first day on February 12 of 1993 at the Pachyderm Studios in Cannon Falls, Minnesota.
The drum and bass takes were kept, while the live guitar was scrapped and replaced with two overdub guitars later on.
You can hear Cobain's loose guide vocal in this take, he hadn't written full lyrics at the time.
